& i know i'll definitely miss it after i graduate. :(
we were kept busy the whole day tdy by all the activities we hav lined up for us.
we hav the Dumpling Making Competition, the Fabric Collage Competition & of course, the Racial Harmony Day Celebrations Concert.
our class was split into 2 sections which each took charge of a competition each.
i was in the group which made the dumplings. :)
its was fun & sometimes frustrating coz the leaves kept tearing & everything.
but i was fortunate tt the fillings we used tdy were bits & pieces of newspaper.
the newspaper bits were easier to clean up than real rice.
hence it made the whole process somewhat easier. :D
but the bad thing is tt, the bamboo leaves & the newspaper bits left a weird smell on my hands. =.=
so i ended up having "smelly" hands the whole day.
after we were done with the dumplings, we started taking loads & loads of pictures.
i'll update them in the next post. :)
had recess.
not much food was left as we were released off late for recess.
but fortunately, thr's still mee goreng available for us to eat. :D
its pretty spicy, but not too bad.
after recess, went to the area near the backgate to take some photos as a whole class.
its was fun but rather hot as all of us were cramped tgt to get into the picture.
we took them as a whole class & as colour code.
i belonged in the "yellow-orange" category.
went back to class.
took even MORE pictures while waiting for the announcement for us to proceed to the hall. :X
finally, the announcement came & we went to the hall for the Concert.
the concert was well.. uncomfortable.
being in a skirt & all, was 1 thing.
having long slits was another.
so when u combine both, its doesnt rlly sound very comfortable, is it?
but i rlly pity those in cheongsams/qipaos.
they've definately had a harder time then me. :X
after the concert, went to change out of the costume.
waited in the classroom for those taking the survey b4 going to admiralty for Lunch.
after they came out, we walked to admiralty.
ate @ mac with lili, jacq, xinli & jiaen.
saw Yenkeng again. :DD
went back to sch for the DSA talk by someone frm IJC.
the talk was pretty informative.
Jemimah was thr as well.
she gave lots of advice on our post-secondary choices.
they were rather helpful too. :)
came home after tt.
