03APR10

Out on tour again, to Lu Lin Mountain (绿林山). It is a very beautiful place, with breathtaking views consisting of lush greenery and shallow rivers that is so clear, one can see what is on the river bed.I was glad i came on this trip, because i can get to see even more nice places in China, which normally tour packages would not bring the tourists to, since it is not very famous.

What was most memorable on this day, i felt, was this suspension bridge right behind our lodging place, though it wasn't the main highlight of the trip itself. It looks like an old bridge built for the purpose that the local villagers living on the other side of the bridge could gather their crops to be sold in town centers. It was an everyday tool for them, but a very rare thing to us. I was delighted and excited like a little child, and spent some time on the bridge.
We went to visit 2 places on the mountain, and they were nice as well. But after all, tourists spots were made nice to attract tourists. Thus making them a little 'unnatural'.
